Impressionist/Realist Views of New England and the Atlantic Coast Featured at Sharon Arts for September

Welcome the Faces of Fall From North Carolina to New England
Dublin, NH Artist Betty Glass at Sharon Art Center’s Downtown Galleries

Peterborough, NH: Visitors to Sharon Arts Center Downtown Galleries are invited to travel backroads and coastal areas from the Outer Banks of North Carolina to New England with images of impressionistic realism in oil and watercolor as Dublin, NH resident and artist Elizabeth “Betty” Glass, featured artist for September, presents stunning landscapes celebrating new places, wildlife, and the shimmering symbiosis of water and sunsets.

Betty is an artist from Virginia now living in Dublin, NH. Having graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with a degree in art education, she taught children and adults for 20 years. Now a full time artist, she is a member of New Hampshire Art Association, Sharon Arts Center, and the Keyes Art Group. Betty has been painting with a local group for five years and loves to travel back roads to observe nature, finding subjects for painting and elevating commonplace subjects to memorable images.

Her work is displayed and sold in artisan shops from North Carolina and Virginia to New England. Ms. Glass’ works will be on view in the Downtown Gallery in Peterborough through September 30th. Additional information is available by calling 603-924-2787.
