Sharon Arts IN-KIND NEEDS

INFRASTRUCTURE:
Ventilation system improvements for Glass Lampworking Studio: $7,000
Gas kiln repairs for Ceramics Studio: $3,000
School lobby updates, including new furniture, kitchen and bathroom refits and upgrades to accommodate snacks and coffee service (Keurig)
School renovations/repairs, including new roof, humidity issues, etc.
School parking lot paving
Software upgrade for our database(s) <note – this is a huge need>
Resource Library – organize, acquisitions
Downtown Gallery refurbishments, including lighting fixed, a new office installed, painting, etc.
Weaving Barn restoration to transform it into suitable learning space and studios

PROGRAMS:
Exhibition sponsors (see list of upcoming Exhibitions)
Marketing plan, including rebranding, research and all related media-buying costs for a year (estimate $30-50,000)
Youth/Teen Programs Coordinator funding: $20,000
Volunteer Program funding (communications, events, recognition, awards)
AED’s (Automatic External Defibrillators) for school and downtown
ArtAccess, ARTventure Camp, Teacher Professional Development Series, Student Docent Program, Field Trip program for area schools, Traveling Art Show (to 4-5 local retirement homes and Crotched Mountain Rehab)
Children & the Arts Collaborations funding
Scholarships
Faculty and Staff Professional Development (in fundraising, VUE/VTS seminar, etc.)

Art supplies for Camps and After School Programs
New furniture for classrooms (easels, tables, chairs, print studio furniture)

EDUCATION/SCHOOL NEEDS:
Create an endowment for the school
Create a “gallery educator” position (for public programs and docent tours)
Pay interns a stipend (for those who commit to one school year)
School Registration software that “speaks” to/through new website

AND WHILE WE’RE AT IT:
Annual Fund of $250,000
New capital to purchase our space in Depot Square: $635,000
Endowment of $500,000, growing to $1,000,000
