While tuition, memberships, grants, and commission on sales of art bring in revenue, it doesn’t cover the many operating expenses of Sharon Arts.

- supports over 500 regional artists (teachers, artists, craftspeople)

- attracts 22,500 people to the Downtown Peterborough area (supporting the local economy)

- provides “hands-on” art education to more than 1,000 students (more than 200 children ages 8-12, and over 200 teens)

- employs 50-60 teaching artists and 10-15 staff

- serves 40 teacher from 20+ schools in NH, MA, and VT through teacher development programs

- gives more than 100 volunteers opportunities to give back to the community

- has over 1,200 members, 150 of whom participated in our 61st Annual Members Exhibit

- distributes over $3,000 in scholarships
