B Explore the basics of lampworking with borosilicate glass on a minor burner torch. Llearn about equipment, materials, and tools and how to safely use them to form and control molten glass with skill. We will also discuss various techniques, designs and patterns specific to borosilicate glass. Create beads for jewelry, critters, pendants, marbles, small sculpture and more as you gain control of the versatility of this exciting medium. Open studio time will be available to registered students for an additional, hourly fee. Lab/Materials fee: $75. Tuition: $200, Member Rate: $185.
