Thanks for taking time to explore Sharon Arts Center’s educational offerings. If you enjoy exploring creativity in all its forms, or have young Picassos in your home that do, Sharon Arts can enhance your life in many ways. Nestled
peacefully in the woods of Sharon, our School of Art and Craft offers a variety of weekly classes and workshops designed to nurture your creativity. Located just five miles (10 minutes) from the heart of downtown Peterborough, our state-of-the-art studios offer classes designed with you in mind.
Our teaching artists facilitate learning for artists of all ages and levels of ability with a diverse schedule of offerings accessible for day, evening, and weekend exploration. Sharon Arts is dedicated to providing art education experiences that invite the artist in each of us to unlock our creative potential and to become a part of the strong tradition of the arts that is so characteristic of the Monadnock Region. We are proud to offer scholarships to students with financial needs so that we can help to remove obstacles between artists and the mediums they wish to explore.
I encourage you to stop by our Spring Open House on Saturday, April 17 (see page 3 for details). Imagine yourself—painting, drawing, weaving, pulling up the wall of your first pot at our potters’ wheel. Can you visualize your child—designing their own clothes, assembling a mosaic, learning about collaboration at our youth or teen programs? It’s all here waiting for you at Sharon Arts!
