Elizabeth Smith To Leave Sharon Arts Center, Bob Pettegrew to Serve as Interim Director

Bob PettegrewSHARON, NH — The Board of Directors of The Sharon Arts Center has announced that Elizabeth Smith, Executive Director, will be leaving the organization.

Smith, who has served in that capacity for the past five years noted, “I have had five very rewarding years with Sharon Arts, and have greatly enjoyed the opportunity to give back to the community in the non-profit world. I have the opportunity to return to my roots in finance, and feel that with the amazing staff I have put in place at Sharon Arts Center, and the Board of Trustees that is in place, I can feel good about moving on to take on new challenges in the corporate world”. She went on to say, “I am fully committed to working with the interim Director so that the transition will be as seamless as possible”.

Bob Pettegrew has recently been assisting Sharon Arts with its capital campaign. His background is in senior corporate management, marketing and fundraising, and he has served on a variety of non-profit boards in the Monadnock Region.
