A Gathering of New Hampshire Visual Arts Fellows: 1999-2009- The New Hampshire State Council on the Arts has awarded fellowships to New Hampshire artists since 1981, recognizing individual artists for their professional commitment and high-quality work. Each of the twenty-five artists in this exhibition has received at least one fellowship from the State Arts Council over the last decade. They work in a variety of mediums, including painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, installation art, and film. This is the first exhibition that gathers together this group of outstanding New Hampshire artists who have been honored by the state for their achievement. October 3 – November 29, 2008

Home and Retreat- Featuring works in a variety of media, this exhibition explores the intriguing concept that one community can simultaneously function as a home and a retreat depending on the artist’s context. This show highlights the importance of collaborative artwork, and draws together artists who have come from near and far to live and work in the Monadnock Region. August 1 – September 27, 2008

Waste: Artists Speak Out on our Disposable Culture- What would happen if you spent a whole year photographing every single thing you threw away? What would you start to notice? Featuring the installation by Tim Gadreau: Self Portrait as Revealed by Trash (5,000 photos) and photographs from Chris Jordan’s series Intolerable Beauty, Portraits of American Mass Consumption, as well as sculpture by James Mitschmyer and Naomi Graham, fiber art by Deb Cinamon-Whalen, collage by Kim Cunningham and pottery by Racehl Garceau, this exhibition addresses the concequences of thoughtless consumption and explores our relationship with waste.
