Sharon Arts Center: Administrator (Full time/40 hours)

The Sharon Arts Center, a non profit organization, seeks a dynamic, outgoing, and organized creative professional to be our Administrator at our offices at the School of Art & Craft in Sharon, NH. This  position is full time Monday-Friday with occasional weekend or evening hours.

This person will provide administrative support to the School Director, Executive Director, as well as the Director of Community Outreach and Communications. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: office management, database administration, class registrations, mass mailings, customer service, membership and donation processing, donor relations, press release follow up, board support, and more.

The ideal candidate’s qualifications would include: Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required) in art, art history, education, marketing or related field; 3-5 years experience working in an educational and/or administrative setting; knowledge about art and/or craft; exceptional customer service, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills, computer proficiency (Word, Excel, E-mails, attachments, database management,Internet research, social media capabilities, etc.); and the ability to carry out minor graphic design projects  (fliers, postcards, etc) Experience in Raiser’s Edge a plus.
