Sharon Arts Fundraiser “Artini II: Art with a Twist” April 23rd features Silent Auction Celebrating the Art of Cocktail Culture

Sharon Arts Center, a non-profit organization, is excited to invite the public to “Artini II: Art with a Twist” on Saturday, April 23rd from 6-8pm at the downtown Peterborough Exhibition Gallery. In response to the success of a similar event in the spring of 2008, Sharon Arts Center’s board, staff, and volunteers have assembled some of the best artists and crafters in the Monadnock region for an evening of live music (by Bob Pettegrew), cocktails (martinis, wine & beer), delicious hors d’oeuvres, and handmade and embellished items celebrating cocktail culture. As a community-based nonprofit, Sharon Arts Center relies on donations and fundraising events that combine a passion for art with excellent opportunities to socialize and celebrate artists in our community.

Tickets to the event are $25/ per person and are available at any Sharon Arts Center location and by phone during business hours School in Sharon- (602)924-7256: M-F 8:30-4:30
Downtown Peterborough Galleries- (603)924-2787: M-Sat. 11-6, Sun. 11-5

The event will feature music, delicious food, specialty cocktails, beer, wine, and a silent auction at which attendees can bid on one-of-a-kind, handmade and embellished items. The auction will include wine glasses, pitchers, olive picks, paintings, and all things cocktail by some of the most talented artists in the Monadnock region!

About Sharon Arts

The mission of Sharon Arts Center, a non-profit organization, is to engage the community in the artistic process, to support and serve artists and craftspeople, and to foster the relationship between artists and the community through education, exhibitions, the promotion and sale of art and craft, as well as through special programs and events.

Sharon Arts Center offers a wide variety of art classes and programs in the school facility in Sharon, NH, a Fine Craft Gallery, a Juried Artist Member Gallery, and an Exhibition Gallery at Depot Square.

The Sharon Arts Fine Crafts Exhibition Gallery is accessed through Depot Square and 30 Grove St. in downtown Peterborough. The Craft Gallery is located in Depot Square in Downtown Peterborough. Store & Exhibition Gallery hours are: Monday – Saturday 11am to 6pm, Sunday 11 – 4 PM.
