Sales Associate
Sharon Arts Center, a non-profit organization, seeks a Sales Associate in our Fine Craft Gallery and Store
location in Peterborough, NH. This position is part time, varying from 15 to 25 hours a week.
This individual will be responsible for providing an excellent customer experience to our members, friends,
and customers. Responsibilities include: sales of fine handmade craft, promotion of memberships,
maintaining store displays and cleanliness, some filing, and other duties as assigned.
This position requires someone who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, is reliable, and
has scheduling flexibility. Weekends are a must. Successful candidates will have knowledge of and/or
appreciation of fine art and craft. Retail experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

School of Art & Craft Buildings & Groundskeeper (part time, 8-12 hours per week)
The Sharon Arts Center, a non-profit organization, seeks a capable person to
maintain the school facility and grounds in Sharon, NH. This individual will be the
primary caretaker responsible for the property, its studios, offices and memorial
garden. Responsibilities include: minor equipment repair, facility upkeep,
inventorying/ordering of plant supplies, working closely with teachers, staff, and
volunteers regarding studio needs, custodial work, grounds-keeping, and other
responsibilities as needed. Some of the work this position requires will be
physical in nature; candidates should be able to lift/move up to 75 lbs.
The position requires someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and has some
scheduling flexibility. Candidates should have experience in facility/grounds
management, knowledge of building systems, the ability to perform tasks and
responsibilities with a professional "customer service" mentality, excellent time
management skills, a problem-solving approach to facility management, and a
high school diploma/or GED.
