Sharon Arts School Announces Fall Open House September 11th
Public Is Invited to Discover their Inner Artist at Sharon Arts School Open House September 11th
Sharon, NH: Painting and Drawing! Book and Journal Making! Working with Glass, Cloth and Weaving! Photoshop! Clay and Ceramics and more! It’s all on tap at Sharon Arts Center School in Sharon September 11th — a no-strings introduction to the School’s lineup of courses and workshops for the Fall.
“Sharon Arts’ Open House allows people to try their hand at one or more art and craft techniques without having to commit to a full course or workshop,” said Alexandra Wall, the SAC School’s Director. “Each session includes a 2-hour mini-workshop which is part demo and part hands-on experience, conducted and guided by an experienced school faculty member.” Offerings will include: painting, bookmaking, glass lampworking, ceramics, weaving and so much more!
While refreshments will be provided, attendees are invited to bring a lunch, chat with SAC staff and take a tour of the facility. Attendees can also explore SAC’s “Earn & Learn” program that allows volunteers to earn free classes and workshops in return for time devoted to Sharon Arts activities. Typically, 50-75 new students come to learn about SAC from these special seasonal open house events held in spring and fall.
Workshops are just $20 per person per session, or $35 for a full day if you are an SAC member ($40 for non-members). Space is limited and this is a popular event so people are urged to sign up early and reserve their seat. All proceeds benefit Sharon Arts Center, a non-profit organization. Opportunity toWin A Free Workshop!
Attendees are invited to buy a raffle ticket and win a free full day workshop. All proceeds go to benefit the SAC school. Raffle tickets are just $5 each or 3 for $10.
More workshop details are available by calling the Registrar at (603)924-7256.
