Sharon Arts Center's School of Arts and Crafts Wins "Best Art Classes in NH" Award from New Hampshire Magazine June 9, 2003

(Peterborough, NH) The Sharon Arts Center (SAC) is pleased to announce that the SAC School of Arts and Crafts has won New Hampshire Magazine's Editor's Pick for "The Best Art Classes in NH, 2003." Of the award, School Director Deb DeCicco says, "We are so happy to be recognized for our arts education program, especially after winning "Best Art Gallery" last year. The community has given us a huge amount of support for the construction of the new SAC School building which has allowed us to offer a wider range of classes and improved classrooms. Our goal is to be responsive to the interests of our students and we are fortunate to have so many exceptional teachers on our faculty." The "Bests" are selected every year by a reader's poll and Editor's Picks and will be featured in the publication's July issue. The winners of New Hampshire Magazine's ³Best of New Hampshire" contest will soon be feted at NH Magazine's "Best Of" party on Thursday, June 26, at Manchester's Verizon Wireless Arena starting at 5:30 p.m. New Hampshire Magazine is the state's largest lifestyle magazine. It is part of McLean Communications of Manchester. The SAC School of Art and Crafts runs four sessions per year for students of all levels and ages.
