Sharon Arts Center School of Arts and Crafts presents:

ConVal Student Graffiti Art Project
Sponsored by the Sharon Arts Center and Belletetes

Opening reception: Saturday May 7, 5 - 7pm
On view at the School of Arts and Crafts Rt. 123 Sharon, NH 03458

For the past two months, eight ConVal students - Danielle Atherton, Colin Blaine, Chad Creighton, Justin Dineen, Brad Douston, James Dunholter, Brian Mamczak, Jason Stager along with three recent ConVal graduates - Emily Bingham, Adam Costa and Jason Schell, have participated in a graffiti-based art project at the Sharon Arts Center School of Arts and Crafts. These young artists have worked with large 4' x 8' panels using primarily spray paint as a medium. The participants designed and executed these images as a response to their intuitive creative process. This project has served as a vehicle for young artists to learn, through an experiential process, about themselves and the challenge of working with a large image and a limited medium. Consistent with the graffiti concept, this work has been mounted on the exterior of the Sharon Arts Center building in Sharon. Visitors are encouraged to come, anytime, and view this dynamic display of young artistic talent in our community. There will be an reception for the artists in Sharon on May 7th from 5-7pm.
