Sharon Arts is celebrating Earth Day early, in conjunction with "WASTE: Artists speak out on our disposable culture" and the Peterborough Green Living Expo and Festival. Saturday, April 19 from 10-4 we will be having hands-on activities in the gallery, including "Trash-to-treasure Collage" and "Make Your Own Re-usable Clay Cup." There is no experience necessary; the art activities are family-friendly and fun for all ages! Sharon Arts will provide all materials, but visitors are encouraged to bring any found or discarded items that they would like to use to make trash into treasure.

We are currently seeking volunteers to help with the activities, call the gallery or email candice@sharonarts.org if you're interested.
