(Peterborough, NH)The Gallery at Sharon Arts presents watercolors by Helene Pierce the Juried artist for November.

Pierce has exhibited nationally and internationally, as well as widely throughout New England, and is the recipient of numerous national and regional awards, including the Grumbacher Gold Medallion, the Goodgal Award from the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club in New York, and the Tripetti Award at the Manchester Institute of Arts & Science.

Solo and invitational exhibits include, New England College, Henniker, NH; New Hampshire College, Manchester, NH; New England Center at the University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH; Daniel Webster College, Nashua, NH; The Center for the Arts and Sciences, Nashua, NH; Kornbluth Gallery, Fairlawn, NJ; The English Gallery, Peterborough, NH; Matrix Gallery, Buffalo, NY; and the Federal Reserve Bank, Boston, MA.

Her professional memberships include The New England Watercolor Society; The Copley Society of Boston, MA (Copley Artist); The New Hampshire Art Association; Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, NY, NY; Academic Artists Association, Springfield, MA; The American Artists Professional League, NY, NY; North Shore Art Association, Gloucester, MA; Sharon Arts Center, Peterborough, NH; The Bermuda Society of Arts, Hamilton, Bermuda.

The exhibit runs through November.

Awarded "Best Art Gallery" in 2002 by New Hampshire Magazine, The Sharon Arts Center is a non-profit center that has been committed to the arts and artists for more than 50 years.

The School at Sharon Arts received the "Best Art Classes" award from New Hampshire Magazine in 2003.

The Gallery is located at 30 Grove Street, Peterborough, and admission is free.
