An Exhibition of Fine Art by Robert Hayes Seaman at Charter Trust, Peterborough, September 22nd - November 2nd, 2006. There will be an Opening Reception with the Artist on
September 22nd from 5:00-7:00pm, public invited.
"Light Gravity Day", Pencil, Robert Seaman Artist and illustrator Robert Seaman will exhibit his works at the Charter Trust Company, 2 - 4 Main Street (in the Lake Sunapee Bank Building) in Peterborough, NH, from September 22 through November 2, 2006. A reception to meet the artist will be held on Friday, September 22, 2006 from 5 to 7PM, public invited. Robert Seaman is a painter, teacher and free-lance illustrator whose work, in published form, has been distributed internationally. His original paintings and drawings are held in private collections throughout the country and he was artist-in-residence at Vermont's Hawk Inn and Mountain Resort and The Legacy Publishing Group. He currently teaches at, and is represented by, the Sharon Arts Center in Peterborough and the Chaffee Art Center in Rutland, VT. He has illustrated for Gray's Sporting Journal, Fly Fisherman Magazine, Massachusetts Audubon Society's Sanctuary Magazine, Lady Bug and Cricket Magazines and a number of books in the hunting and fishing fields-most recently "The History of the Grand Cascapadia River." His other work includes portraits, intricate pencil drawings and oil paintings. Charter Trust is an affiliate exhibition space of the Sharon Fine Arts Galleries and will be open for viewing of his art during their regular business hours from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The Sharon Arts Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is, "to stimulate, encourage and promote education in the theory and practice of arts and crafts, through instruction, exhibitions and assistance to the practitioners of the arts and crafts in marketing their products."
