Sharon Arts Center’s “River of Words Stream of Conscience” Exhibit
Features FREE showing of “Thirst,” an award-winning documentary, at Peterborough Community Theatre- April 11th, 7:30pm
The Sharon Arts Center is pleased to present a free showing of “Thirst,” an award-winning documentary that takes a piercing look at public stewardship and corporate ownership of water on Monday, April 11th @ 7:30pm at the Peterborough Community Theatre. The film is just one of several free public programs and events taking place in conjunction with the current exhibition “River of Words Stream of Conscience” currently on display at the Sharon Arts Center downtown exhibition gallery.
Unbiased Variety calls “Thirst” an “awakening” and driving home the point that more than one billion people currently live without access to clean water and more than two billion do not have basic sanitation. Millions of people die every year from preventable, water-related diseases because they do not have access to clean water. The exhibition is sponsored in part by Filtrine Manufacturing Company of Keene. This particular event is co-sponsored by The Harris Center for Conservation Education. Admission to the event is free. Further information may be obtained by calling 603-924-7676.
