Schedule a Gallery Tour

The Sharon Arts Center has two galleries: The Exhibition and the Juried Artists; each gallery has a distinct purpose. The Exhibition Gallery features the artworks of regional and nationally acclaimed artists in an invitational format, rotating every seven to eight weeks. The Juried Artists’ Gallery features the works of 130 juried member artists on a year-round rotating basis.

Sharon Arts tours are well-rounded, hands-on, and highly personalized. Using the visual-thinking strategy approach, educators and artists will work together to provide a unique opportunity, allowing students a close-up examination of the local artwork in the Gallery. Tours can include hands-on activities, discussion, problem-solving, group collaborations, and more. The variety of exhibitions and artwork in the Gallery allows for an inclusive, contemplative approach that will immerse students in a rich arts experience. Sharon Arts Center will work with teachers to engage students in an interactive nature, using current curriculum requirements, so students can get more out of their trip once back in the classroom.
